first, it that's a "509" hydraulic its too much cam. bid hydraulic cams are
torque killers. they need a compression boost to help them out. tell us the
complete spec's on the cam. the best thing to do is get a vacuum reading at
idle and in gear. you'll need to change the power valve to something like a
4.5 or lower. recurve the distributor to bring the centrifugal advance it
quicker.
