There's a lot of variables involved and each car will be different so it really is just a pure ballpark number.  I found a really good article based on papers from an SAE symposium on the subject in 2002.  http://www.modified.com/tech/modp-1005-drivetrain-power-loss/viewall.html

The closesst way to get the real % would be to put your motor on an engine dyno then stick it back on the car and run it on the car dyno...and hope the air temp, etc is still all the same...heh
