it is definitely a scam. they will send you a cashier's check, which you deposit, and you bank credits you with the amount. then you withdraw the amount to go back to the person. they pick up your car and the money. about a week later (which is the time between banks), your bank finds that the cashier's check was fake, and now you owe your bank the whole amount! fun, huh?
