On the Mysterious irregular occassional Pop that my car would do:   The
simplest things sometimes are the most intriguing mysteries. I took my
"vented" gas cap off and drove the car on the freeway again. It never poped
once. Wha-huh? Went home and drilled four small holes in the gas cap until I
can get to auto parts store. Everything seems to be hunky dory now. Thanks
for the suggestions guys. That's why I am here,
