RE: Mopar Prices, Auto Auctions, Appraisals

At the bottom of http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/whatworth.html
is a link to a place called Hi-Bid. Hi-Bid is an annual subscription
service that claims to report actual prices paid at major collector car
auctions. I think they charge something like $30 a year to subscribe. I
don't know how accurate they are with the the data.

Anyhow, whether auctions *really* represent a '62 to '65 Mopar's price
value is a matter of opinion. Some people believe that, in general, most
car auctions tend to drive up the prices, and "heat of the moment"
auction frenzy usually leads to overpaying. That's good for sellers, of
course! :-)

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
