yes, the fender mounted turn signals should light up.

you have to remove them from the fender,  mine are held on by a phillips
head screw.  gently unscrew the assembly holding the light bulb and replace.
if memory serves me, it's a 330 ge.  if i'm wrong, i can go into my garage,
where i have a box of them.
