Bottom line is that there are only 2 or 3 different filter manufacturers
among all the brands on the shelf. Some people don't particularly trust
Fram, and I've become one of them. I use the Motorcraft FL1A, which is
internally different from a Fram. They're also just as easy to come by.

ph8a is the right size, but i would cross reference to wix and get a better
filter than a fram.

somebody did a comparison of oil filters a while back, but i can't remember
the web page.
