I love em as well,but you Do have to be careful! My theory on piston rings is thus...cast iron rings are fine for an average compression set up that does not see get run real hard,they will wear faster than chrome or moly rings.Regular oil changes and they will last a long time. On the other hand if your engine is built to run medium to hard you will be better off spending more money and getting a better set.If you are just reringing worn cylinders,go with the cast ones,you will have more blow-by,but what the hey?
