The shorties may just be an improvement over the stock manifold, but I
would love to see a set of try-ys for the poly. I think well designed
try-ys really help low-end torque. I know the Cosworth Vega came with
them from the factory.

I was always told that real headers needed to be equal length tubes and
certain lengths for certian applications. I was led to believe that the
splitfires and Try-Y designes were an improovement over stock manifolds
but
were really made to fit inside the fenderwells and eliminate the need to
cut
big fenderwell holes, in a way just a headerette, or as close as you
could
get to what you really wanted?
