I had exactly the same problem. Going down the street or idiling at a light it would die just like the key was shut off. Then not want to start for 10 or fifteen minutes. I first tried the ballast resistor and that did nothing. Then in one large swoop I replaced the coil and the orange box with a chrome one from Carquest. It has not done it since its hard to say if it was the coil or the box. But I think from the way it was acting that the coil was the problem. Bob A
