My nephew, (who makes the hood scoops, fenders, hoods etc), just did this to 
a hardtop door for a 63 Dodge. Can't tell it from and original door. After the 
doors are dipped and finished off, they will look just like a factory post 
door.
He's is a REAL craftsman!
