My first reaction - Why?

The 1962-64 Fury did not come as a 2-door sedan, although it did have a
4-door sedan.

That would be an awful lot of work to convert it. On a hardtop the door
and quarter glass is larger than on a sedan to fill the space where the post
is on a sedan. Plus the sedans have metal frames around the glass that the
hardtops do not. If you put on a post on a hardtop, how are you going to
deal with the extra glass where the post will be? How are you going to
properly seal the glass when the doors are closed?

If you want a Fury 2-door sedan, buy a Savoy or Belvedere 2-door sedan, put
a Fury interior into and add the Fury exterior trim pieces. Much easier and
much cheaper.

OK, here it is.
I am the one who started this question/thread the other day about
"should I be ashamed because I dont have a post car?"..
Heres the question- how bout making my 63 fury into a cloned post car
from the doors on the four Bevedere parts car, using the metal from the
doors and pieceing in a phony post setup?
Anybody ever done that? Could it be done?
Did the Fury come as a post car?
Anybody got close up fotos of the post area to send me?
