No way is it enough to break that rear end though. And I've been finding more and more guys that are running the 741s and having no problems...so that's what I'm sticking with. I just gotta remember the KISS principle...! Thanks, Andy Earl Helm <earlh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: So Andy, What engine are you running? Don is running a high horse power car with a 741 and a tapered axel rear end. Unless your running big horse power, and even if you are, I know plenty of guys running 741's with cars that run low 11's, and don't have any problems. Have you been listening to the prevailing "You have to have this certain piece to be cool" crowd? If you have a posi 741 case, buy a set of gears, rebuild the posi, and go have a good time. Don't make it more complicated than it is. Earl Andy 64 Dodge Polara 500 --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Win a $20,000 Career Makeover at Yahoo!
