Tom,

Good advice, I have a 2000lb stand and I even put a 2X4 under the pulley
at night.

Guy's,
I bought the big one from Summit this past winter and it sags. I was so
afraid it would drop the engine I cut a 4x4 and put it under the
crankshaft pulley. I also bought the roll around cradle for BB and it
toppled over and bent with a 361 block on it last month. The black one
with the little wheels. Be careful, it's cheap stuff. Thankfully I was
standing right there and put some dunnage down to break the engine's
fall and no damage that I can see, but DAMN! I had just taken it off
the hoist and creak-creak-BANG! I'm going to have to cross-brace the
cradle and the stupid little wheels get caught in every little crack in
the floor so I'm going to get 4 large rubber swivel casters. Beware!
I'd advise buying something better.
