OK, I know I was asking last week a bunch of 8 3/4 questions. I kinder
understand about the tapered axles a little and pulling them, but the
thing I still dont understand is this: Is the housing the same
regardless of the year- By housing I am referring to the axle tubes and
the round middle, not the pumpkin that slips in to the middle ( My
terminology might be off)I think sometimes I have heard this called the
Banjo???? Maybe I will ask it this way, could I take my 63 8.75 housing
( banjo) and plunk a , say , 1969 pumpkin and axles right in there? Or
is it not that simple?
No, I didnt think so!
