Hi,

The article appeared in Mopar Muscle in there section
called 50 years of hemis.  The story went that Garlits
dropped a hemi in his tow rig.  He wanted to see how
fast it would go.  Everyone told him that it needed x
# of degree of timing.  He tried that and it ran okay,
 then he kept adding timing and it kept running
faster.  I think that he ended up with about 35
degrees of timing.  I can dig out the article if
someone wants the specifics.
