Rich, if you decide to go with the Edelbrock, Jegs usually has factory 
rebuilt ones at a good deal.  Sometimes they're in the catalogs and sometimes 
they're not.  The May/June catalog only has the 500 with the electric choke and the 
600/750 carbs are manual choke.  Give them a call though.  I got 2 1406's a 
year ago for about 220.00 ea.  Joe
