Hello Club,

I took your advice and lubed my speedometer cable and took the car for a test drive. It did not seem to help. The speedometer climbs to 20 mph, clicks and drops to 0 mph, over and over again. I didn't notice before, but the odometer is stuck half way between 3999 and 4000 miles. No matter how far I drove the odometer will not roll over.

Here's my question. Can an odometer get stuck and cause the the speedometer to malfunction or does a malfunctioning speedometer keep the odometer from working?

Help!
