A fellow list member - Tom Faust - mentioned he had a 72 440 motor for sale and as it turned out, I was the first one who jumped on it.  Made arrangements with Tom to pick it up (wife and I drove up from VA to MA yesterday).  Tom is one of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure of meeting.  Made sure the motor turned as advertised.  He secured the motor to a roll around stand he had and then spent extra time cutting up some 2 x 8s to make a brace so the stand wouldn't move back and forth on my pickup bed - Tom - really appreciate all the work you did on this and it didn't budge at all!   If anyone is interested in buying a decent 64 Fury convert, give Tom a shout - he just might be able to help you!
