hi gang
first the good news, lots of the mopars got bought up. the deal was 100
minimum starting bid on all the cars in there. then you could pull it out or yank
parts and leave it. i am kind of depressed right now for seeing the place,
but still thanks to Gary again for the tipoff. i found what was left of 5 65
sport furys, one was a 4 spd and the tranny was still there. one had a 727 in
it but it was stacked on another car. i saw a 64 polara with an excellent
grill and bezels and could not find it on my trip back thru. what was left of a
62 i think newyorker with the big dome gauge package protruding out onto the
column with the little flag type instrument gauges. way cool car. a 57
belvedere, 5 or 6 late fiftys savoys, what was left of a 67 rh23h car (very little).
i am going to kick myself for not buying a 68 4 dr small block satelitte
because the grill was intact. i should have at least got that grille, i think.
but i left without breaking a sweat. anyway there were people there buying up
the bigblock mopars, one was a agent for someone in michigan. the weather is
pretty mellow today and i think the turnout was real good. i was glad to see
a desoto get bought too.
