Hi
With an inline Dual Quad the usual practice is to set it up so the
engine starts and idles on the rear carb only. The progressive linkage
brings in the front carb as you accelerate.
Thats the setup on my '58 Fury. (Dual WCFB Carters.)

Subject: Dual quad idle circuit question

The guy that's helping me rebuild my 318 Poly (he's an old 6-pack racer) was
asking about the idle circuit on my dual quad carb setup. You guys running
the dual 4s, do you have both carbs setup the same, or did you do something
different with one? I hope I'm being clear enough...not sure if the
question sounds right or not!

Thanks,
Andy
