I got a new (well... rebuilt) power sttring pump. The old Federal
kind with the round tank
and separate filler neck. Anyway, two questions:

The new one didn't come with a pulley. My FSM shows that you need a
special tool to
remove the pulley from the old pump and you're supposed to put the
pulley on the new
pump before it's completely assembled. Is there any way to get the
pulley off the old one
with normal hand or air tools? How about getting it on the new pump
without taking it
apart?

I already know the Federal pump for a big block is supposed to have a
longer input shaft,
and the brackets are different than for the pump off of a poly, but
can I use a small block
pulley on a big block pump, or is the big block pulley different?

Thanks,
