Since you'll have to take it off to change it anyway, why don't you remove
it, clean it, paint it, and find the timing mark before putting it back on?

Does anybody have a harmonic balancer for a 1964 318 poly they'd like to
sell?  Mine is blue, not original red like the rest of the engine, and I
can't find a timing mark for the life of me.  The timing light only
shows blank.
