Gary,

Yes sir, they are 11X3.  Not sure about the past history on the brakes, but 
would assume it has had a brake job or two.  My great uncle had the car from 
1962 until the wreck in 1989, but it would seem easier to find this type of 
brake size in the early to mid-eighties as opposed to now.  Maybe I am wrong 
on that assumption, but parts were a little more plentiful at that time.
One other thing about this car, it has a tapered axle in the rear.  Haven't 
quite kept up with the tapered rear axle conversation, but would like to 
know if this makes it easier to identify the rearend.
