Jeff-
I don't know where you are in the country by Pat Blais, who is on the 62-65
Vendor page is absolutely fabulous with our trannys. I can't say enough
about
this guy and how he's helped me.
(He's got the 3.8-1 KD levers too!).

Tom Duross

I will be there either Friday or Saturday. I plan on driving the 64
Polara, which brings up an issue for me. I pulled the 4-speed and tore
it down Monday to rebuild it. It scrapes on every shift and jumps out of
4th on low-speed deceleration, also has a vibration at highway speeds.
Already have a master kit coming. I was very surprised to discover
Liberty gears inside. My problem is I order a standard A833 kit with
brass synchro rings. The Liberty gears appear to have the synchros
welded to each gear. Anybody have any experience with rebuilding with
Liberty gears? I would welcome any suggestions or comments. I'm worried
the kit won't work and I won't have time to get the car back together
for the Nationals and the Brice Rd. cruise (and burnout) Friday nite!
