I 'm been using a Weiand manifold on my Poly for the past 17 years ,the only advantage i gain was the weight loss. My motor is super clean and the weiand if not install rite will leaks here and there,,some horse power was gained, but when it comes to Poly's and making horse power a dual quad tunnel ram would be the "Cat's Meow".

Awhile back there was a nice discussion about the factory 4-barrel intakes (cast iron) vs. the Weiand 4-barrels that are being made now (aluminum). Does anyone still have that discussion saved, and if so could you email it to me? I, of course, no longer have it...

Also, for those using the Weiand on your Poly, where do you find it makes the most power at? They advertise from idle to 6000rpm is the power band. Well no shit, that's pretty much the ENTIRE power band. What's the reality of it, and are you happy with it?

Thanks for your help,
Andy
