It has no power below 3500. I am sure Gary P will confirm that. If you can find a good stock 4 barrel your much better off. The Weiand is on old design single plane, and they did not work well back in those days. The stock one is a duel plane. Even by comparison with today's manifolds, if you look at dyno charts comparing the RPM Performer with the Victor, there is not much difference over the overall curve. The duel planes perform very well. Earl Awhile back there was a nice discussion about the factory 4-barrel intakes (cast iron) vs. the Weiand 4-barrels that are being made now (aluminum). Does anyone still have that discussion saved, and if so could you email it to me? I, of course, no longer have it... Also, for those using the Weiand on your Poly, where do you find it makes the most power at? They advertise from idle to 6000rpm is the power band. Well no shit, that's pretty much the ENTIRE power band. What's the reality of it, and are you happy with it?
