The Rat Roaster was a Hemi intake, produced by Edelbrock.

It was an NHRA legal replacement for the inline Carters, but had lids for 
both a cross ram or a single Holley Dominator. 

They were an improvement over the stocker, but not as good as a cross ram. 
However, to run a Street Hemi in SS, you had to have the same carb 
configuration, so the Rat Roaster fit the bill.
