I was gone for a few days and was glad to read all the posts concerning the hyd brake deal, I will pass it on the the guy who told me that the '29 Chrysler was the 1st one with full hyd brakes. He stated that in previous years,Chrysler had  a combination of mechanical and hydraulic brakes . Looking at the backing plates on the '29 you could tell that the slave cyl and the shoes were setup to work the just as they do today.Way to go!!! to all the defunct engineers who designed the system so well that it is still in use today!
