Dave thanks for the help on the link you found. It looked real promising, so I emailed them with
some questions about what we are doing with these stickers. there reply was "We don't recommend our
stickers for use other than as bumper stickers." oh well...

Hey guys, I say go for it! tell me how it works out though. I get a lot
of lip service about how they
can't handle Mac files etc... and let me know what you might need file
wise? jpeg, eps ...

Well, I'm lucky in that the decal I'm using will not even be on a valve
cover, but on the air intake tube of my EFI setup, where it will be
even
cooler than the valve covers. The other bonus here is that I'll only be
going through them one at a time instead of two at a time. I took a
quick
look at http://www.fedexkinkos.com and under
Copy/Printing:Signs/Banners
they do mention decals as easy to use as a bummper sticker, so it
sounds
like they've got the abilities.

My apologies to Schuyler for my volunteering his time to have decals
made.
If he doesn't want to do it, but is willing to send me the ultra high
quality file, I'll get Andy's made. The rest of you can probably
manage to
get your own made. This all comes back to what Schuyler wants to do
(I'm
getting so good at typing it I don't have to look back to check my
spelling).

Dave,

I think it would be a great idea. I got an email from ProGraphix
about
engine decals (specifically valve covers) and they said it's only
about 200
degrees on the covers and that most decals would hold up to that.

Since there is no such thing as a "local Kinkos" around here - I'll go
directly to Schuyler and buy from him! :)

He made a cool Polyhead 318 decal - exactly like the RAMCHARGER 426
decal - that I think I'll be using. Good stuff!

Let us know what you find out! Andy

Coincidentally, the thought occured to me this very evening. Great
minds
think alike. I'll let ya'll know how it turns out. Then Schuyler can
start
selling 318 stickers to list members.
