i swapped a new waterpump into the 440 and discovered i had a 195 thermostat
in there as well and a 16lb cap onthe rad. i put in a 160 thermo as
instructed and changed to a 13lb cap and the car runs at about 180 and
slowley climbs to about 190 after 20 min of operation and is much happier
and cooler. Thank all of you who made suggestions and helped me out. I
really appreciate it. and so does my engine.
I posted a message this week about a friends rear brakes on an A-body 8 and
3/4" not fitting, either wrong backing plates or bad berring spacing... any
ideas?
Thanks again.
