If I understand your question:
You can use the column shift on the pushbutton trans, if you swap the rooster combs from the 904 to the 727.And you are going to use the 727 on a big block.

Hi all, My question is this. Will a 1963 Dodge 383 w/727 trans being a push button cable shift work in my 1965 Plymouth 273 with a 904 trans w/column and cable to trans interchange, and if not what all would have to be done? Thanks in advance for any help...
