Yes, it will swap out. Your '65 driveshaft may be the wrong length and/or
have the wrong size U-joint. Also, it is often argued that the rooster comb
in the pushbutton transmission should be swapped with one from a lever
shifted transmission (64 console, 65 console/column), though some claim once
its adjusted, the difference won't matter.
