Check the filter, I would probably put a new one in before I ran it so I could monitor how much garbage is coming out of the tank. I would use a clear one first so I could see how much crap is being collected. I would them change it for a good metal one so you don't have a fire. Earl There's about 4 or 5 gallons of stale gas in a Mopar that has sat for a about a year and a half. Stabil was put in the gas back then to help preserve it somewhat. The gas still is liquid and will burn, but has that yellowish old fuel look (not clear) and smells a little bit off correct. Should we: * just run the old gas * add a few gallons of new fuel to the gas tank to dilute the mixture and then run the car to burn the mixture off *pull the gas tank and drain the old stuff? Or?
