Per the 1965 FSM:
Front Strut Nut - 40 ft lbs
   Rear Strut Nut - 110 ft lbs (C-Body is 100 ft-lbs)

Considering that the front nut goes against a washer/rubber bushing, that makes sense as opposed to the 110 or so at the rear.

Hey guys,

Does anybody know the torque setting for the lower control arm shaft nut on a 1964 Fury? The one that goes through the K frame? My 1964 FSM lists it as 180 ft lbs, then later as 130. 180 seems awfully tight.

Thanks,
