a friend called me last night and was looking for the vin number on his 383
block. is it located in the same place a 440 would be? he looked and found
nothing. it was later that night that it dawned on me it was a 67 block and
therefore no numbers were there to match as that was started in 68. is the
383 vin ID located behind the passanger engine mount real close to the pan
surface on the bottom of the block? Thanks
