I had my 65 coronet media blasted. It took everything off except for some of the more stubborn undercoat. Left the metal unharmed (not warped). VERY happy with it. I did of course have to hand sand, but you always have to do that...

As for your bumper question, I would just wire wheel the bumper, then I would run it through a series of grits (sandpaper) then I would use a good etching primer, then a urethane filler primer (to fill little pits and imperfections). Just my $.02.

BTW, if you want it to have a cool metal look, use Chrysler Rallye wheel paint -- Year One P/N QP323 (Qt)

How should i strip my car down?

disc off all the factory finish, he says the stripper doesnt take off

the factory color on Mopars after about 1965.I do like the idea of the

  What about soda blasting? I have always heard sand blasting will
  warble panels, but what about soda?
