my 69 Dart was painted with a two stage Omni paint of EE1 dark blue
poly.   I painted it in '98,  the car was wrecked in Jan '04.  For the
the duration of those 6 years, I waxed the car maybe 3 times,  washed
it regularly (maybe 10 times a year),  and parked in the garage maybe 1/2
the time.  The paint still looks new, and I was getting very favorable
comments from folks on the paint job  (up until a dork in an SUV t-boned 
it)...
