Some years ago I remember reading an article that told how to convert the 
ball and trunion flange on the back of a tranny to a regular u-joint, and having 
the benifits of the extra bearing in the tranny to help stabilize the 
drivetrain.  As I recall they were using the yoke off of the back of a later model 
pick-up truck transmission, (possibly off of a 4-wheel drive) which susposedly 
had the same spline and nut set-up as our B&T set-ups, does this sound correct? 
and if so what years are we talking about
