This has definitely been the case for me as well. The
paint and body work have always been the bottleneck to
my projects as well. I've sold a few that I should
have kept because I couldn't get past the body work. I
could always do the mechanical side and I've attempted
the body work, but was never successful enough. I've
finally bit the bullet and had my Fury painted. I've
also stripped my Savoy down now, plan to get it
blasted, and then it's off to the body shop. I think
the Savoy will go together quite easily with a freshly
painted body and it should be easy to install the
drivetrain. I've also sent my 70 Challenger out for
paint, it's been gone for twelve weeks, and should be
ready by the end of the week.  Andy, you have to do
what you're able to with the 64 Dodge but I'd make an
attempt to tow it back. It'd be great to get it back
on the road. My Fury had been setting for two years
before I bought it and the Savoy, who knows, maybe
twenty years. Can't wait to bang some gears in the
Savoy.
