Hi,have a Valiant v-100 -65 with a slant 170" trying to use it
everyday, but have big problems with starting when cold,it doesnt matter
if I have it inside garage or outside in snow when 10-15fahrenheit(minus
15-10celsius).Have changed
sparkplugs,contacts,generator,relays,Jiffy-kit to cartercarburator.Have
adjusted everything to specifications.Found problems with to high
floatlevel and floatneedel, have also adjusted choke it was to hard
before opening.Must pump a lot on pedal, even then its difficult to
start. It has helped a lot when I found choke wasnt opening faster than
it did,can it still be problem with choke?? maybe to adjust floatlevel
down a little more?? Cant remember that I had this problems with 318"
poly in my Satellite-66,(20 years ago). Are slant six more hard to start?
Thanks from Glenn,sweden.
