I put SS springs on my '65 Belvedere (which is the same as a '65
Satellite Convert which I also have). Since our springs are 21" and the
front segment length on the SS springs are 20", it required a one inch
spacer on our cars. The post '65 B-Bodies used a 22" front spring
segment. I got an A-Body spring perch which is 1" longer and works
perfectly.
My 8th Edition "Mopar Chassis Manual" has a table which shows the
various length of the front and rear leaf segments in the "Rear
Suspension and Brakes" section.

Could any of you that have a 65 Belv or Satellite convertible measure your
front armrests for me. I'm trying to locate a set for mine and I can't seem
to be able to determine length or part number. These are supposed to
overlap the door release handles as I understand. Paul, I know you're out
there and I finally got one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You guys rule.
