Re: factory seam sealers



It was wrong Neal. Chrysler was in business to sell cars not preserve them-sadly.

A friend of mine worked in body shop repair for years; I can see what he suggests and will report that if I can get in touch with him.

Is there a section in a Mopar Factory Service Manual's "body" pages  "Body" section that details where sealer should be applied and how, on the body seams?

Generally what I recall is the sequence is primer > seam sealer > paint.

There are two part seam sealers also that some folks prefer.
