I guess it also depends on how "original" you want or just "looks good" at the end. I suspect most people at a car show would have no idea what the 1964 factory-fresh Dodge dash plastic looked like anyway. :)
I'm not looking for obsessive, but I don't want it to look "wrong". Those pictures help a lot. It looks to me like the edges are shiny plastichrome, but the interior is something else. A less shiny silver paint maybe. Unless I am misinterpreting the pictures, a uniform plastichrome finish over the whole thing would be "wrong". I'll take a shot at my practice piece. Thanks!
