They are 50/50 gas filled. $38.95 a piece. I had air shocks on the car previously, so they have a better ride than I'm used to having, however, I've only put about 10 miles on the car cruising around town yesterday... Brian

I just got back from my friend's house to look at the problem he's having while trying to install KYB rear shocks on his '69 Super Bee. He

just bought a pair of the KG5512 from Mancini. They will not fit into his upper rear shock mount. The shock body hits on the mount before the

hole for the bolt lines up with the hole in the body mount. We set the 2 shocks side by side and found that the one he removed had a domed top,

but the new KYB has a flat top. That difference makes the mounting hole

1/4" too short from lining up. The Japanese may have made an engineering change to the shock without recognizing this to be a problem, because the centerline of the top to bottom holes are the same as the original shock. My friend will contact Mancini tomorrow to let them know what we found.

I suggested that he use the Mopar Super Stock rear shocks, part number P4529515. That's what I put on my '64 Belvedere yesterday.

Brian
