They look cool all hopped up and jacked up but there is nothing wrong with
a sleeper. Its the car your father should have warned you about. I love the
drags and I raced in the 60's but this show started out as a great show and
swap meet with the drags added. I can go to the drags all season long It
would be nice to keep it as a show and swap but its done every year maore
and more venders stop coming and wait for Carslie, now they might as well
just have it as a drag race. I'l start going to Bristol Tenn for their MOPAR
shwo Dave O

the thing i find most interesting about this site is the
polar opposites on what is cool and what is not.

if i went to a drag/show/swap, my #1 interest would be
the drags, especially the old mopars, then if there was
a swap or show, maybe i would check them out.

don't be offended by this comment, but i think stock
65 plymouths with few exceptions are quite homely.
on the flip side the hopped up versions, jacked up with
wide tires are the sweetest cars on the street.
i feel the same about 57 chevs.

i don't make any special trips to car shows that
don't include drags, or drag cars, to me that is
the signature these cars have left on this world.
