State Farm insured my collector cars in Kentucky.  When I moved to 
Havana, Il. my State Farm agent told me that they don't insure collector 
cars in IL.  I transferred here to Woodstock, IL. and my new agent asked 
me why I didn't have them insured as collector cars?  I think it's an 
"agent problem" if they tell you that State Farm won't insure them.  
I've convinced 2 other guys at work to switch to State Farm for their 
collector car insurance.   You might try a different agent....Brian
