    I checked my timing chain by the formula and without a doubt my
    timing chain is junk, outright failed the test.  the  recommended 
    slop was 3-5 degrees of crank rotation, mine  came in at a whopping
    23.4 degrees!! I even double checked it all because I couldnt
    believe it was so far out.  
   i dont  even see how it could run that worn out.
   Well i guess I know what i am doing this weekend! definitely WILL NOT
    be replacing it with the  cheezy nylon tooth setup.
