Robert,
I am not the sharpest tool in this shed, but I did spend a few years
turning wrenches in a GM dealership, and my personal opinion is that
it's one of those "grass is greener" things to believe that GM HEI is
"better" than mother Mopar's ECU. I've seen my share of component
failures to not place too much faith in either, but instead look at your
ignition holistically in view of the rest of your system as it relates
to your driving requirements, e.g., is your advance setup and optimized,
etc.
Just my 2 cents ...
