For what it is worth, I sell auto parts in a commercial/retail auto
parts store in California and I have only sold one or two mopar modules
vs. many HEI parts.

On my own mopars, I've only lost one module and no resistors. Maybe I'm
lucky and maybe there are just more guys running HEI distributors.

Also, regarding the wiring diagrams, I don't know what is confusing you,
but I have seen some very clear articles and diagrams within the pages
of Mopar Action and sometimes Mopar Muscle. In particular, Rick
Ehrenberg has discussed the issues extremely well on numerous occasions.

Personally, I will stick with a nice, simple design that seems pretty
reliable to me.

Just as a reminder, poor grounding is quite often the mysterious gremlin
in electrical trouble-shooting.

Let us know how your HEI adventure turns out.

I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
